The Pre-School Snow Policy is as follows. A certain number of days are built into the calendar for
2007-2008 for each class. You will receive a class specific snow policy.
Generally, when the Harford County School system is closed for the day due to bad weather, the PreSchool will also be closed. Every effort will be made to schedule make up for additional missed days.
If the Harford County School system has a delayed opening -
TWO HOURS LATE, we will follow this schedule in order for ALL classes to meet:
5 Day am meets 10:45 – 12:15 M/T am meets at 11:00 – 12:30
5 Day pm class meets 1:30 – 3:00 Th F meets at 11:00 – 12:30
3 Day TWTh meets 11:15 – 12:45 Combo meets 1:15– 2:45 M/T pm meets at 1:15 – 2:45
In rare instances Harford County may use a ONE HOUR LATE, we will follow this schedule:
5 Day am class meets 9:45 – 11:15 M/T am meets 10:00 – 11:30
5 Day pm class meets 12:30 – 3:00 M/T pm meets at regular time
3 day meets 10:15 – 11:45 Th/F meets at 10:00 – 11:30
Combo meets at regular time
* In the case where the Governor of Maryland declares a State of Emergency, the days missed will not
be counted in the snow days.
Please listen to the radio for early schools closing when the weather looks threatening. We will also close early, and you will need to come to school to pick up your child.
Harford County will now be announcing closings with a Code for Harford County Employees. The codes do not apply to students or our school.
